The Indigenous Skills and Employment Training (ISETS) program supports Tallcree Nation members in acquiring the skills and experience necessary to secure meaningful employment and build strong, self-sufficient futures.

Through ISETS, we help individuals prepare for the workforce by offering funding and support for training, education, career planning, and job placement services. Whether you’re looking to start a career, return to work, or upgrade your skills, the ISETS program is here to help guide the way.

What We Offer

  • Career Planning:
    Personalized support to help you set goals, explore opportunities, and plan your next steps.
  • Training & Education Funding:
    Financial support for programs such as trades training, certificate programs, apprenticeships, and more.
  • Job Readiness & Employment Supports:
    Help with resumes, interview preparation, work gear, and short-term training that prepares you for work.
  • Youth and Student Programs:
    Opportunities for young people to gain skills and work experience through summer jobs and career training.
  • Connections to Employers:
    We work with local and regional employers to create job opportunities and match members with roles that align with their skills and goals.

ISETS is open to all Tallcree Nation members who are unemployed, underemployed, or seeking to improve their employability. Whether you’re just starting or looking to change direction, we’re here to support your journey.
